As October draws to an end Hampstead Heath prepares for a fair. Part of the fairground entourage is a collection of horses, here are some of them grazing in the fading afternoon sunshine……….
Following the heatwave here in the UK we were treated to a few light stormy days of rain with a light breeze. Ideal for a trek across Hampstead Heath………….

As the title suggests, this will be a growing collection of shots that don’t necessarily fit together in one particular theme or genre. There may be connections and similarities but there may equally not be.
This is the day that Britain decided to leave the European Union. I’m not suggesting that the weather had anything to do with the outcome, but I think it’s interesting………..
Along with the quaint olde worlde buildings and cobblestone streets, the area around Shadwell Basin and Wapping at large provides some unexpected views……….
Not the easiest place to get to by public transport, Wapping offers an olde worlde mix of warehouses, quayside yards and cobbled streets, interspersed with modern gleaming steel and glass luxury apartments and an ever increasing cluster of hopeful estate agents.
If you walk along the river bank heading west, you are greeted by iconic views of The Shard, County Hall and of course, London Bridge.
