Wapping, Shadwell and a grim prospect

Along with the quaint olde worlde buildings and cobblestone streets, the area around Shadwell Basin and Wapping at large provides some unexpected views……….

From Wapping to Tower Bridge

Not the easiest place to get to by public transport, Wapping offers an olde worlde mix of warehouses, quayside yards and cobbled streets, interspersed with modern gleaming steel and glass luxury apartments and an ever increasing cluster of hopeful estate agents.

If you walk along the river bank heading west, you are greeted by iconic views of The Shard, County Hall and of course, London Bridge.
